Default IAT sensor problem

Running hondata s300 v3, started the car one day and eml was on.
Code P0113 intake air temp circuit high input, went on the smanager and the iat is reading 122 deg f.
Checked the loom and sensor and all seems to be ok, even de pinned the iat sensor pin at the ecu and still reads the same temp.

Any ideas?

I have an idea. you're full of crap. s300 is only for obd1 ecu's. and only obd2 ecu's have p#### fault codes.

what chassis are you using? what engine? what ecu?

and again, obd1 ecu's do not use p#### trouble codes. so it's impossible for you to get that code.

Make sure the wiring colors in the plug that you are checking are red with a yellow trace and green with a black or white trace. As for the value from the sensor... use some common sense when examining the data displayed on your Hondata datalog. If you crank up your car cold, and immediately the IAT value is 122 degrees F, you either live on the surface of the sun, or the sensor is broken. Under normal circumstances, the IAT should read about the same as ambient temp at cold start... maybe even a few degrees cooler.

If your IAT sensor is not plugged into the plug containing the wire colors I have outlined above, then find the plug with these wires and plug the IAT sensor into it.

when did hondata start using p#### codes in the s300? Sorry, I didn't even know that was a thing. now I feel like an ***.

when you go out to the car for the first time of the day, turn the ignition on and open live data. do not start the engine. look at IAT and ECT, they should match, or be within a couple degrees of each other. And as JR said above, that temp should be close to actual ambient temp. if ECT is close, but IAT is off by a lot, the sensor itself might be bad. It's also possible the ecu is damaged.
