Anyone read Honda tunning "CRX guerilla TURBO"
since this board is a technical one, most of us probably dont read that magazine
however, maybe if you summarize what the setup is, people may be able to help you out.

Its the typical junkyard turbo setup.
Pretty good if you are looking for a cost efficient power adder. The only drawbacks I can think of are-
You are not buying a complete kit. It may get annoying trying to pic up all these parts.
You are using a used turbo, one which may need a rebuild soon.
Custom fabrication (Intercooler piping, adapter plate, downpipe) can be quite a pain, especially if you don't have the tools.
But I still want to build one for my CRX!

well not everyone use junkyard parts, there are a few on here... but a lot of people on HT use custome setups which do require pieceing togther and making your own downpipes and some manis and ICs... So if you can find a good turbo it isnt much different from the guys on here running a lot higher that the 5psi that you get with most "bolt on" kits...
Yeah, you dont have to use used parts. I want to go find an old eclipse and grab the turbo, injectors, blow off valve, and side mount intercooler. Add those things to my Hf manifold and I would be well on my way to a semi-nice turbo setup.
Yeah that article was pretty tight. Greg Leone is one of my close friends [ i filmed in Quattro Noza w/ him] The setup is pretty tight, I drove it for awhile and it pulls so much tha tit causes torque steer while spooling. I mean its a custom junkyard turbo setup but its worth it if u have time and no cash...im in the process of mine. But yeah *thumbs up*
for it....

They sound like fun projects, although since I've never done one myself I'm kinda worried about once I have all the parts in place, how do I go about fuel and timing? I don't trust a lot of what's out there. (Cheap fixes)
Yah about the fuel and ignition, will the stock ECU do just fine with the 6-7 PSI setup they use? I really don't feel like blowing my engine before I get my real project finished, I just need something to hold me a while.
