I was just wondering if anyone out there have any advice on using a 14b turbo charger and a SMIC from a DSM on a B16 CRX. I'm considering this but don't know if it will actually get me anywhere or should I just go out and buy a new turbo kit. I rather use what i have but any advice and pictures of your 14b setups will be greatly appreciated. I have a non-running 91 Mitsubishi Eclipse sitting in the backyard and was thinking of stripping it of the good stuff

I'd say go for it. I knew a guy with a stock LS making some nice power with a 14B, although he was front mounted. He was taking stock STI down all day long. Not even tuned mind you. Of course, he has replaced the engine 3 times hehehe....

sounds like turbo charging my crx migh get expensive over time. Would my engine loose its reliability if I choose to go this route? what advice would you give for some one like me who wants to build up a complte sleeper. I think that the SMIC would sure keep the turbo on low profile but how much should I boost? should I keep it low profile or would that rob me of HP's? would going full blown FMIC and loud BOV and chrome piping help out? anyones input would help on this. I'm not trying to make a drag car just something fast enough to not loose a street race. and good enough to take me around town. thanks
