..... 1.5 l4... the engine is in a 91 honda hb si. i have never heard of the engine but i dont a whole lot about the different engines in all the different hondas. the lemon check said the engine was a 1.5 l4 but the model said that is was a 91 si hb.

i think you'd be better off with a motor swap, your motor's just too small.

 

if its an si like you say it is, then you *should* have a D16a6 motor, which is 1.6L. check the engine code under the hood to make sure. i've heard of people bolting turbos onto these, although its not as common. jackson racing makes a sc kit for that motor, but i wouldnt recommend it from what i've heard over the years.

 

thats the thing my engine is to small for the boost you people want to put on it (20 psi and what not). I would want like7 to 12 psi. just enough to stomp a little *** but still be healthy for muh engine

 

a D16A6 could handle 6psi reliably and run a long time without problems, assuming its tuned well. i'm sure people get away with 8 or so even, but i'm not that risky.

then you may want to go out and read the code before looking for more input. the code is between the engine and tranny (to the left of the exhaust manifold).

ahh that makes more sense. well like i said, as long as you're positive its an Si, then it will have the 1.6 in it. many times those online sites are inaccurate.
