can you boost more than 11psi on the stock map sensor with the SMC (of any kind)
the smc says 14 right in the instructions, but physically, the stock map only takes 11 or 12 psi tops...
stock map is good for about 14 psi (see level) then smc will be in rich mode
level). I think a few peeps actually have tested the limits of the stock honda map sensor exactly, and depending on the year of your honda and what type of sensor it has the limits are like 9.5psi to 10.5psi or something. J.davis dropshop or uber guy should be able to supply the exact number.
You can boost higher than this, but you might not be able to get a handle on the a/f ratio as well if you do.

The SMC Dual can supply enough fuel past the range of an OE MAP sensor. With it's dual map profiles you don't have to compromise off and low boost drivability. More details here:

With 450cc injectors you can easily boost 13-14psi and even more with 550cc injectors.

85-91 MAP = 9.25 psi
92+ MAP = 10.65 psi
You can run all the boost in the world you want to on it, but your fuel doesn't get any richer after the MAP's limit.
i run stock map sensor up to 22 psi whit the greddy blue box whithout prob(yeah of corse whit some extra fuel)
stock map sensor will maxout about 11-14 psi for reading then it will be in full rich mode

put a volt meter on the MAP wire off the ecu and reem on it, the reading with remain constant after 9.4-10.5 rpm or so. If it keeps changing then bad ***, but it will most likely stop at 10psi and then the car is not getting more fuel than what 10psi calls for....
