Default Hondata Full Throttle Shifting

I'm going to be installing the clutch switch tomorrow for it and I was wondering if what experiences you guys have had with this hondata feature.

Don't install it, especially if you like to have room to "play" with your clutch.

basically if you're redlining through all gears, you absolutely CANNOT have your foot on the clutch, if you do, the rev limiter will just stay at what you set it at. So if you have the full throttle shifting rev limiter at say 7K like i have mine, and you try to redline through gears for a drag race, you better have your foot off the clutch or the fullthrottle shift button will be engaged and you'll end up topping out at 7K if that sensor is triggered. It's a useless feature to have, i recommend not installing it. I'm about to pull mine but too lazy to do so

You shouldnt have your foot on the clutch anyways. Also, there has to be a way to make is not so sensitive?

so I should probably set the shift limit point something higher than redline...so it doesn't kick in...because I still want to be able to use launch control.

Can't you put the buttons somwhere else?..lets say for the launch control..i would use a push button where the e-brake is so i would just rev and press the button.

Launch limiter and full throttle shift limiter are two different settings.

You shouldn't be running into your launch limiter at any time after your initial launch.

Full throttle shift is not a "useless option"; you're just not using it right.

Oh I know. I think what I wrote was confusing. He was telling me to ditch the full throttle but if I disconnect the clutch switch..I won't be able to use the launch control feature...that's what i meant.

Are you touching the clutch? I'm assuming that's why ur limiter is kickin in @ 6K. Has anyone had success with the full throttle shifting? Seems like majority don't like it.

I'm asuming you have the s2oo, you can install the switch on the clutch just don't plug it in to the blue box until your ready to launch you car. Or you can rig up a kill switch.
