Hondata Full Throttle Shifting
basically if you're redlining through all gears, you absolutely CANNOT have your foot on the clutch, if you do, the rev limiter will just stay at what you set it at. So if you have the full throttle shifting rev limiter at say 7K like i have mine, and you try to redline through gears for a drag race, you better have your foot off the clutch or the fullthrottle shift button will be engaged and you'll end up topping out at 7K if that sensor is triggered. It's a useless feature to have, i recommend not installing it. I'm about to pull mine but too lazy to do so

so I should probably set the shift limit point something higher than redline...so it doesn't kick in...because I still want to be able to use launch control.

Don't install it, especially if you like to have room to "play" with your clutch.
Launch limiter and full throttle shift limiter are two different settings.
You shouldn't be running into your launch limiter at any time after your initial launch.
Full throttle shift is not a "useless option"; you're just not using it right.

i have mixed \feelings about it .i hooked mine up thise week and just unhooked it , the fucknig thing was kckkng a revlimiter at 6k for some someeasno ? it would be cool if i could get it to work right though, i hate to hold in a button for my 2step i rather just use the clutch switch, .. . any ideas on why mine does this?
Are you touching the clutch? I'm assuming that's why ur limiter is kickin in @ 6K. Has anyone had success with the full throttle shifting? Seems like majority don't like it.

I'm asuming you have the s2oo, you can install the switch on the clutch just don't plug it in to the blue box until your ready to launch you car. Or you can rig up a kill switch.
