Default Total Seal Piston Rings

Rebuilding my engine and want to know if they are worth installing on JE SRP 10.5:1's instead of the ones that come with the pistons.

Any change in compression?

i would go with weisco piston rings. total seal rings are good despite what many people say but you have to follow thier recommended boring and cylinder wall honeing procedure to get those rings to seat properly.

and why are you only going with 10.5:1CR?......the higher the better.......11.5:1+ is what i would go for if you are going N/A.

Never had any luck w/ Total seals. JE rings(what should have come w/ your pistons) have never failed (for anyone I know). Jut stick with them & you'll be fine. Be sure to follow their gapping/setting procedures. Good luck!
