Icon6 piston rings?

I have a b20 with 84.5mm Wiseco High compression Pistons and rings. After few thousand miles i started burning oil so i pulled the engine out ordered new piston rings from wiseco and took it in to the shop to get it honed and pistons put in. Well now the piston rings dont meet the min required end gap on the mid ring and wiseco does not make an over sized ring. what should I do? Im scared of going to 85mm because i do not have the block sleeved.

Get 85mm rings and have them filed to fit the 84.5 pistons at the spec you want.

Did you KNOW the rings were bad or was it just a guess? Did you do a leak down or comp test? Just saying it could be valve seals and now your knee deep where you don't need to be.
