Default Installed a dart block today. My little review

Well The block is a one size fits all deal. So you need lots of plugs to cover the holes that are not used. It weighs about 6lbs more than the b20 I removed, (just a guess). And make sure you have some oil squirters sitting around as it is completly bare. Other than that the piece is a work of art. To duplicat it im sure would cost well over the 2 grand my customer spent. See he had a b20 that the block had been previously milled way to far like 60 thousanths, causing the pistons to clear the deck. So after adding the price of a new b20 pluss sleaving it, it was gonna be up there a bit in price so he said what the hell and went for the dart. If anyone is thinking about getting the block and wants to ask so questions feel free.

Pictures and status reports for it might be nice. No one doubts it's a good product, but you don't hear much about them yet like you do the sleeved blocks.

Oh another shitty thing is the block has no dipstick tube. We tried everything to get it out of the old b20 but it wont budge.

so what else is shitty about the Dart block. Did they give you any kind of warranty? Looks to me like might have some cooling issues with that block.

No warrant just like all other import stuff. As for the cooling the block has the same design as a stock honda block on the inside. Its not solid with driled water holes as people think. The inside of the block has the same cylinder design and the stock block, its just the the top is a closed setup. There is a hole on the block where the coolant sensor can go (for older hondas) that you can see how its made

Well its a a solid closed deak with darton sleeves in there. But the block is built the same as a stock block without the open head.
