Which bushings??
Which bushings would you prefer, Prothane, or Energy Suspension? I know the Prothane's come with all the metals but cost a little more. Is it worth the extra money, does it save any time in installation?
Any other opinions on these two or any other brands?
thanks

Take your choice. My understanding is that they have nearly the same Durometer and stiffness. If you use the Prothane on the trailing arms you need a press to remove and replace them. We have the ES bushings on the arms, lca's and sway bars and the car is much stiffer-just took longer for the install.
I went with Energy and boy, what a mistake...dont get me wrong. Performance wise they'e fine, but a real pain to install. I would have paid more for something like prothane that includes the metal inserts preinstalled.

i don't know about the ease of install on prothane, the main pain for me was the removal of the old ones and the sleeves. the install was done literary with my foot, by placing the bushing against the arm and stepping on it. the trailing arms took me about 3 hours, which were the last ones to be done. ES was simply cheaper. another thing ES does not provide but prothane does, are the compensator and rear upper control arms bushings, but i cannot justify the cost of prothane parts for those.
