Default LCA Poly bushing install Q's

Hi guys I need to replace my front LCA bushings on my 01 Lx. I already ordered a set of energy suspension poly bushings. I have never installed these before so I want to know the best way of getting them in. I know the front bushing is a 3 piece so it is pretty easy to install but the rear is only a 2 piece(bushing is 1 piece vs 2 and the metal sleeve). Does this install with minimum pressure or does it need to be pressed in by a local shop? Thanks in advance!

An easy way to install them, is to use a benchtop vise. A press would make it slightly easier, but its not impossible to do without it.

I don't have a bench vise because I have nowhere to mount one..lol. I did however manage to get them done yesterday using a 5/8" threaded rod and washers. I pressed them in as far as they would go that way then finished it off with a 3lb hammer.

Hello i just replace mine and its best to take it off and have a good reputable shop press them out, there is no need to torch or cut them, my shop charged me 20 for both arms, the only bushing that needs to be pressed in is the big bushing then grease the inside of the bushing and slide the sleeve in, the small bushing comes in 2 pieces. You need to grease the inside of of the arm and then the bushing and just press it in by hand, repeat for the other side then grease the inside again and slide the sleve in and your done.
