well, I have had this problem before, for whatever reason my cel comes on when I go into vtec, I don't know the code, but it is the one for vtec. anyway, texas now mandates that we get our emissions checked and it does the test through the OBC, does anyone know if this CEL will give me a problem when I take it in to get it inspected (I have to do it this month).

I dont think youll have a problem due to the echeck --- what mods are you running?

 

I don't have any mods worth speaking of. KN filter, exhaust. that is all.

I know this is the problem cause it has done this before when it was in warantee and I took it in with the same simptoms and the same problem.

when I go above 4400 RPM the vtec solonoid make a series of audible clicks (it is turning on and off very rapidly), then the CEL comes on.

I agree though, I don't think I will have a problem with the emissions, but I don't want to go in there and be told to come back, I don't have the time to take off work to go twice
