i have an 96 civic lx. i want to upgrade to projector lights with black housing. Can anyone tell me of a good brand and the best place to get them. i don't want that halo design. i just want brighter **** than i have now.

 

Projectors suck. They're bright for a while then the light beam just scatter. One of my projector even cracked cause of the heat from my piaa. Just save your money for hid. It's much better in the long run.

 

**** projectors...they are not worth the money...get some super whites (not blue) from sylvania or piaa and if you want to later on get hid...but I hear that on civics hid doesnt perform well because of the huge lens

 

I had a friend with a 98 civic ex...he hated his projectors, they arent bright, he had to drive round with his brights on 24-7 just to see....just go jdm black housing CTR headlights and a set of acura HID kit....

 

squash the projectors. i bought some.. never put them in cuz i didnt end up liking them. anyone want them? 92-95 coupe

 

i have some on my eg and theyre bright as hell. the brights kind of aim upwards though but theyre tons better than the stock ones. yall must have gotten shitty ones. why dont u want the halos? those are pretty tight.

 

well lets see, if you want to upgrade to hids then the best option is to put them in PROJECTOR housings... therefore buy the projectore, use them till you can afford hids and then retrofit them.

 

i have projectors, no problems here, i like mine
