not bright, blinding, there is a diffrence, light would not be more intence at all, it would simply be dispersed in 10000 directions.

There are only 2 types of HID bulbs... reflector and projector.

The reflectors only perform as desined when there is a properly designed reflector (glare guard).

Projectors would work-ish but again there'd be no shape to the light and it would blind the **** out of people.

Your best bet for something like that would be to look at a stock reflector HID housing and try to swap the reflector (glare guard) onto yours... I mean ideally you'd want one with the reflector housing designed for it too... but that'd take a lot of luck finding the right one to fit into the civic housing.

Whatever you figure out the main point is that neither of the type of HID bulbs are designed to be in an open housing w/o either a reflector or a projector lens.

A buddy had a 4300K kit in a set of CTR headlights (no glare guard) and they were simply dreadful. Horrible idea.

I have oem CTRs with no shield BUT the hid kit I have came with well designed casper(glare) shields

more pics https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=644430

if I could do it all over again (which I might) I would go with retrofitting TL bi-xenon projectors with zkw bi-xenon lenses
