god damnit. well my ****** box isnt getting power now.. wtf. no led or anything i checked the wires and im gettin all ground except for 1 which im not getting anything. ive tried reseting ecu, checked fuse.. everything wtf is going on.. put dataloggin on it for a few hours this morning.. it was workin fine.. wtf
i'm also having trouble with my hondata...My CEL keeps coming on and the hondata light is blinking. John told me that I need to just wiggle it back on, but the thing just keeps on coming loose or the connection is bad(I also have the p72)...Does anyone else have this problem?

here is a thing that might posible work to "reset" the ECU
hold the shift button down, turn car on, run for 1 minute, turn car off, take finger off button
When the hondata is blinking it is not being connected.... pull out the ECu take the cover off and make sure its still clipped in
Make sure nothing is restricting the wire...... etc....
Check ur ******* connectins!

Don't worry dude. It sounds like a connection soldering problem. Try Dr. On Point's suggestions. I had a hell of a time trying to get my system bug free. I did eventually.

i think it is the ecu not the hondata.. im just saying i have over 1500 into this setup thats why im pissed off it fried the ecu.. i think at least.. how can i check ecu.. i dont have anyone with civics or tegs.. all them have rx-7 and supras and **** like that.. to test ecu i have to buy p72 and resoder all that bullshit..
nothing starts and runs a honda like a stock honda computer. thats why hondata works. Im willing to bet that ya soldering isnt good enough and maybe it was loose. It can hapen. just check everything out and then call the dealer you got ya stuff from. tell them whats up and see if they can help. If not call hondata....dont point fingers when ya not sure.
Check for 5V between pins 1 and 3 on the ECU. I think one is ground(black). I have the newest blue box. I tried to solder my own ECU and ended up frying it. I felt the same way as you dude, I was SO frustrated. Then my datalogging sucked, cut J12, all good. Then my laptop-serial connection sucked bad. Got the Key Span USB, all good. Keep trying.

do i hook it up.. turn the ignition on and take my multimeter and put the black probe to the #1 and the red probe to the #3 (dont think the color matters) but is that how u are saying do it.. or 5v for each lead...
yeah on the ECU. Pin 1 is black, Pin 3 is red when the cable is connected. disconnect it, turn the key to ign. and test with a multimeter, should be 5V.
