Fosgates are way better for bass, and are alot louder.

Are you going for sound quality or spl? What kind of power do you have?

I'm going for spl and i'm probably gonna get a Rockford Fosgate amp that pushes 400 watts rms at 4 ohms to drive the 2

I'd look into a more powerful amp.

if it was me i would run (2) alpine mrd-m500 or mrd-m300 amps 1 per sub and (2) alpine type R's 12" 4ohm dvc.

personally i'd use like a mtx 4250d or a mtx 6500d inplace of those alpine amps. The alpine amps are awsome for SQ, but do not pump out much for bass. As for the sub, the Alpine. Personally I think RF's sound poopy... well maybe it's just all the people around here that have them do not know what "tuning" is

i actually have one of each. in my car right now i have a 10 inch rf dvc in a virtual technology box. its rated at 800 watts i believe. and i have a 12inch alpine type r in a sealed box at alittle over 1 cube i think. by far the alpine sounds better and can still get loud but the rf just gets a whole lot louder. oh yeah i push both of them with a mrd m300 alpine. i just switch em out when ever i feel like it. sq-alpine all the way. spl-go with the rockford.
