pro's = light weight

cons = CF is ugly, they never fit, and they are unnecessary for a street car.

just throw your stock hood back on and spend the $300+ on something worthwhile..

good brands will fit fine. taking off weight from the front is a good thing (if thats what you REALLy want it for, which is the whole purpose of it ).

taking weight off the heavy end of a car helps to get that much closer to a neutral handling/balanced car.

im probably gonna be lookin at a mmrusa oem style hood skin from fiberglass and have it painted milano. i could do without cf and its price tag for now.

why paint it? people seem to think CF hoods are cool unpainted, why wouldnt an unpainted fiberglass hood be cool too?

Please do not post if you do not know for a fact.

Very few lbs? How about 18+ lbs depending on hood?
