ill turbo / intercooler

Default ill turbo / intercooler

i have a 94 ex civic with 120321 miles on it i want to run a greddy turbo kit on it i want to run around 4 psi around town and 8 at the track would it be safe to do this with stock interals and no intercooler?

8 psi kinna if you got good gas... but youd proly lean out...just get a starion intercooler if you can afford the greddy or so on..

He wouldnt lean out just by having low octane fuel

But yes he would probably detonate

Ummm, I would still get one regardless. Lower intake temps = less detonation

And yes, even 4-6psi of boost gets HOT HOT!!

Not to mention you'll make more power with the cooler charge.
