What do you guys think of these gauges?
SPA dual digital gauges
Here is a groupbuy page on them

They seem pretty net given that you can have 6 measurements in only 3 gauges.
Are digital gauges more accurate then analog, since there is no mechanical movement?

they look nice..ive heard people running them with a trigger so that they use also as a turbo timmer....the car turns off after the oil cools down to a certain temp.
But IMO id rather have a needle to tell me where im at.......Im more visual and having a needle in a guage, can give me a better idea on how hot the oil is or where i am on boost.

Digital gauges are nearly impossible to read i think. It's so much easier to see an analog readout. For instance: Your running dead nuts 9 psi and its solid....all of a sudden you hit a little boost creep then the digital guage reads 20 psi, where on a normal guage you might be able to catch it.
I dunno if im really feeling them. I would prefer your "average" guage before those. Something about the digital layout doesn't interest me as much.
They are OK I guess.

most racecar teams mount there guages so that all the needles point up when normal... that way its a whole hell of alot easier to tell if somethings off, just look for the needle thats not pointing up.
Is it just me, or does the Boost/EGT gauge in the lower left corner read 45.7 lbs of boost, and 139.9 Degress Celcius for the EGT?
What the hell kind of a car give THOSE readings?

those gauges probably do got a lot more function than most of the other gauges out there but form is important to me too... honestly, those gauges look like ***... try and find some nicer looking ones that also work well...
yeah, but why if is measured in some other measure
being digital, they can switch between different metric and imperial measurement.
I'm looking to get a fuel/oil pressure and water/oil temp combo. For boost and egt, I'm looking to get this:

Digital gauges look pretty sweet, not too sure on how accurate they are though. In terms of taking a quick glance while driving, the digital gauge might take longer to focus on than a conventional gauge. It's a conversation piece, not bad looking but depending on price, not a necessity. To each his own
