Default 8-10 psi Safc tuning?

Hello everyone i was intersted in finding out,if u all (from those of u with Safc's) found that tuning with the Safc is a sufficient enough device for tunning an 8-10 psi b series motor....

if not what is needed to makeing sure an 8-10 psi motor runs good enough to not blow...?

Yes you can but I think your going to need some bigger injectors. What disc are you running in your FMU? Have you done a fuel pump, inline or intank?

I run 10psi daily. But i runa vortech fmu 12:1 disk, rc 440cc injectors, missing link, 255lph intank pump and the safc.

i believe my fmu is a 12:1 (its a jackson FMU), and i plan on installing the jackon fuel pump and prolly 310c-370cc injectors along with the Safc....

so what do u think? will that be good enough then?

yea, that would work. I would go with the 370's though.

now the safc doesnt have any way to read the air/fuel ratio correct? so how would i go about getting air/fuel ratio readings so i can tune it? from what i understand the autometer air/fuel gauges dont work for ****....

The greddy a/f gauge is probably one of the best. Or you could put it on a dyno and tune it.

I actually use the greddy egt gauge. But if you do that, put it on a dyno so you can see where you egt's match up with the a/f so when you tune it on the street or when you don't have a dyno at hand you can know where your car starts to run really lean.

All of the jackson fmu's I've run across are 5:1.
