i was thinking abou this...i have a few more things to order and I'm at $3,300. Which is a little more then a drag kit. I think my kit will make more then a drag. But how many wish they would have just bought a kit, instead of piecing.

ahahhaa, thats only cause my fingers hurt from doing my stainless lines and my arms are killing me from hacking my stainless piping.

Going custom is the best, and only way to do a turbo kit. Turbo kits never come with good fuel management, and you always want more power than what the kits were designed for. My rule of thumb, if you want 300whp do your build-up for 400whp because you'll eventually get there.

 

And think of the Upgrades you WON'T have to do later.
That's where the money thing really works for DIY "correct" system

Here a a custom kit I threw together on paper the other day. It's more or less a stripped down RH 2c kit minus fuel componets with Hondata, Injectors and resistor box added.

Plus the oil return line, clamps, and BOV are upgraded.


All of this is brand new minus the DSM injectors.

yes, and the only reason is I would have a nice intercooler instead of my tiny greddy intercooler. Other then that I'm happy that I went custom. saved a little dough

 

i spent a lil more than a kit but, i am also making more hp out of my car than most kits at the same boost level. Also I got a GOOD return/supply line, GOOD fuel setup all of which you will not get with most kits.
