Default Time to get serious about an exhaust...

I've been doing my research and have come across way to many choices. I've not SEEN or heard ANY of them locally, so it makes it even tougher to chose.

Can you guys help me?

I want an exhaust that:

-Improves Performace
-Is NOT loud until past 4000rpms
-Sounds nice and deep (not ricey, farty or raspy, but like a true "sports" car)
-Is not too "bling" (don't want tickets)
-Looks nice!

(in that order of importance)

I originally considered OEM Type R, but was dicouraged by the bottleneck muffler and hard to find in my area...

Now I'm considering Apex'i WS

Do I have any other options?

I like the WS but the Look isn't exactly what I want. Plus it's not the most non-restrictive muffler out there. But the price is nice, and I'm not getting an exhaust for the "looK'.

I'd say go w/the itr exhaust, gonna be hard finding an aftermarket that doesnt get loud after 4k rpms.

Yeah, I think the only exhaust that won't get loud over 4k is ITR simply because its a stock piece. 95% of the aftermarket systems will be noticeably loud over 4k

It don't mind if it is loud over 4k rpms.

From what I hear the WS is fine in this categorey.

I don't need it to sound stock, just not like an N1...

That's what I'd recommend... I had it on my Teg and it's really quiet at low rpm's and still gives good peformance... It's a little bling bling cause the canister face is kinda large... HTH...

I have the A'Pexi WS... or World Sport... it's not too loud past 4k, well not even loud at all. it's pretty deep but not ricey type "whaaaaaa" sound... and it's not too bling bling... in fact the only bling bling factor would have to be the A'Pexi etched on the side of the tip... it also increases hp... add a 2.5 pipe with a header (all motor) and your set to go... the perfect ehaust setup for an integ... ask anyone with this combo. do this and you'll be greaty satisfied... i know i am!!!!
