rsr exhaust
after searching and searching for an rsr i came up with nothing. alternativemotoring and turbo imports both ran out of gsr catbacks. so as my last final attempt, i emailed rsr..well racing beat... about ANY leads on a gsr catback. he replies to me 1 WEEK LATER with:
"Funny you should ask about the RSR line, we just send all of the remaining
inventory of warranty parts back last week."
what a buzzkill....

This place is an Exclusive Distributor for Invidia RS*R Products, maybe they can get you an RS*R exhaust straight from Japan. Don't think they make the same old school model you're looking for though.

it's gonna be hard to find those...alot of people used to run around SD with that exhaust in 94. so they ar out there. YOu just gotta look hard. I know my friend threw his in the trash(junkyard) after he got in a accident. but that time ultraflo was the best exhaust...haha what did we know we were only kids
bought one from the tuboimport guys and i think they told me in the reply email that i got the last one. soory that you can't find any i looked for over two years and ift paid off finally. good luck

FS: My personal RSR stainless exhaust. Use over 100,000 miles. Still in excellent condition. How about 800.00 Firm. (Don't hate me. I'm just messing with ya.)
who is this rsr company, and why does everyone hang from their *******, do they look cool or something, or do they make assloads of power. Or is it just the whole JDM thing to have because it is really hard to get.

quality is key
the old skool rsr exhausts sounded great and looked good too. It is the favorite of many old vets and they stopped making them so they are hard to get now. Nowadays they have a invidia rsr but its nothing compared to the orignal rsr exhaust
alternativemotoring ran out of gs-r catbacks a while back. you can get the 94-99 LS/RS if you have a 2k gs-r or higher. it will fit. thats what i did. check out the link in my signiture for pictures.
I think rsr was bought by Invidia...but anyways I am pretty sure Invidia makes something like the old one....try looking for that.
damn...somebody in honda-tech not too long ago had a link to some shop in carson i believe. that shop still had a few rsr exhausts and headers...
i love my rsr exhaust. its really quiet

What is the exact model name other tahn just RSR, I loved the sound of them on civic's back when i had my truck, now i have a teg. So its hard to find them.?? what would they go for???
fthere is no name for it it is the RS*R for the GSR or the ls/gs/rs. the only theing that had a name was the tip-70mm angle cut tip or the 100mm magnum tip. turboimports.com has the header but are all out of the exhausts. they ould go fo about 300-350 used becasue they are very rare and hard to find.
good news for those looking for RS-R exhausts. they are coming back. i spoke with turboimports.com, and they say they will be ready to sell once the official rs-r page is up and running. keep an eye out for http://www.rs-r.com
Looks like their new systems will be the canister 'N1' style. Hopefully they will make one like the original system.
Funny how there is a demand for the old RS*R systems, back when I had mine everyone was on the Greddy bandwagon.

I looked all over for the oldskool RS*R. After months of searching I gave up and went with the Apex'i WS. The muffler, lookswise might be a little on the ostentatious side, but soundwise is very quiet. When it does make noise it is a very deep tone. No droning on freeway speeds.
