I was wondering if you guys like axis wheels. I was looking to get a set of them? Do you know anyone that has some or yourself have them? What are your opinion on them?

I'm not show before go. I have some rota ss right now. But you know its for the lady. She wants some show. But i think some of the axis wheels are not to bad. I just have a friend that is Canadian rep. So I can just get them for a fair price.

I like the 4 spoke ones (Mag-lites?). Everyone else thinks they are ugly though. But I think they are as lite as the Rotas, 11 lbs or so for 15s.

Yeah, think your right. The mag-lites are about the same weight as the rota SS. Also i think the mag-lites are forged(i think? Don't quote me). I wished they still made the VPD's. Those are really nice.

No, sorry. I am considering them as a wheel choice for my CRX project, whenever that gets started again.

Well, I havent researched wheels too much yet, because I have got a full engine rebuild and bodywork/paint ahead of that. It will be a fun project, I have a daily driver, so this thing will be a good project car. I am even going to try to do the paint/prep work myself. Trust me it can't look any worse than it does now, MAACO really messed it up. Anyways, back to the topic. I really like the Mag-lites, I think they look good, and the cool thing is most people think they are ugly, so I will be somewhat unique. I like black, but dont know if they make that rim in it. They graphite w/ polished lip looks really good though.
