because all of the cool a/c cockbags say so. you know, the guys driving around in 1990 honda civics with wheels that cost more than twice what they paid for the car. those guys.

oh yea?!?!? we will see who gets the last laugh. those rota wheels are not aerodynamically wind tunnel tested. plus, they weight like 2 pounds each more. you are not getting the mad weight reduction son. you can take .00000006 seconds off of your amazing 3.9 60' time at the track with the real wheels.

I would have no problem with Rota's, if they designed their own wheels. As they are right now, they copy people. for a lack of creativity.</TD></TR></TABLE>

i got no problems with people ballin on a budget though
where does everyone get this 2k idea for anything real and not rotas?

Rotas are cheap good looking wheels (because they are knockoffs) but have particular good build quality themselves.
Anyone that knows anything about wheels would know theyre Rotas, but wouldnt hate on you for it, because they are good wheels.
If you want to spend 3000 on wheels go ahead. Ill stick to Sub 500 though.

$3,000? That's more than extreme. I paid $850 for my SSR Reverse Mesh's, and they're forged.

Kids who are mad.
I have a set of slips and real Sw388s. I'm just so freaking old I had my spoons before Rota was around
tons of people can't tell what's what.

Re: (The Maxidermist)
Here is a thread about porsche enthusiasts all excited about putting rotas on their cars. They are not for honda's only and have their place in the market.
Rota haters are just like all other haters in life, they hate something that is different from themselves and put it down in an attempt to make themselves feel better. Quite pathetic really.

Re: (jimmyizcool)
I bought Rotas because they were the lightest wheels I could afford at the time. I needed something for auto-x and track days and if I had bought Spoons or Volks there would have been no money left over to enter the auto-x or track days! It just wouldn't make any sense. It's like the old Bell helmets ads that say you should spend as much money on a helmet as your head is worth. If you have a pimped out show car with a 10 grand paint job, go ahead and spend 3 grand on wheels. I'm happy to spend $400 and go racing on them for the next 5 years.
