I still Need help with srs reset
I have been trying for a few days to reset my srs system and i have been unable to do so because i'm not sure if i'm jumping the right plug. I heard the plug is in a holder. I'm wondering if the holder looks the same as the one u jump to get the check engine light code. If someone could please tell me the color of the wires going into the plug that needs to be jumped for the srs reset it would be great.
if you have a factory radio get your code. then disconect your battery!!!! for like 10 min sometimes it works but you need to get your srs stuff fixed I work at a body shop trust me if it's there it needs to work if it doesn't work it needs to be dissabled.
i know that but i have to stick a paperclip in the plug to reset the system but i can't find the right plug to jump. Do you know the location of it in a 95 prelude.

this is hearsay but i heard someone say its was under the passenger seat..
ive see a 2 plug connector behind the center consloe too.. between the pass and dirver seat all the way against the firewall towards the engine... not sure if its it or not.. my srs light is on too.

ok if this helps at all, i was just under the dash of a 95 civic (ok totally different car but it's still a honda). It's fuse box is under the dash near the steering column. There was a yellow split-loom harness with 2 wires going to a yellow plug, which was plug into a yellow connector on the side of the fuse box. Funny thing is, i felt around the plug and it's a dummy connector. It really doesn't plug into anything. This might be how it's setup on our cars too. I know the shop manual shows it to the left of the steering column (drivers side) up in there somewhere. Now I'm not the type of going and playing wiht SRS systems for fear of popping an air bag, but my guess is it's the same type setup in the same general region.
i could tell it was a dummy plug because i could spin the plastic "plug" the yellow wire went into, and it was right beside the fuse box on the civic. I'm not totally sure on ours.
