Hood wont close w/ top fitting in wastegate, what can i do.
I cut the nut part of the fitting in 1/2 and even cut a hole in the fiberglass frame of my hood. Still wont close, even w/ the hood latch all the way @ the top. What can i do.
I have an earls elbow and it still wont close. Its a tial 35mm and inline pro mani. Im considering using some washers to lower my motor. I dunno what else to do.
If you have a good welder you can make one out of a 45 degree bend and two flanges. I think Revhard and or Inlinepro makes a wastegate elbow. Also if you're not running a boost controller, you can just take that top fitting off of the wastegate.
Thanks ill call them tomorrow. The reason I need the fitting on top is cus i have a trust MBC i will need to use.

I just used a small brass 90 degree on my Tial and it cleared just enough. You can pick these pieces up at local hardware stores or Home Depot. Good luck, Allen
