Anyone have this problem before on EK?
I have a problem with my suspension in the back. It's the LCA that I'm having problems with. I have a broken bolt stuck in there but couldn't drill it out correctly so I thought I'd take off the whole arm and bring it to work where there's a drill press to make it easier. There's 3 bolts. 1 bolt where the brakes are, 1 bolt holding in the strut, and 1 bolt more towards the center of the car. I can't seem to get the bolt by the brakes to break loose. I think it's threaded on the other end too. But didn't check to see it there was a welded nut there also like how it is on the strut bolt. So if I break that bolt, would it be difficult to work with it then? Cuz I don't want to risk anymore damage than there already has. I already broke the strut bolt but drilled it and put a 5/16" stainless steel bolt through with washers and a locknut holding it in only. It's only a little bit smaller than the stock bolt. Is that safe for a temporary basis? till I find a bigger cobalt drill bit to widen the hole cuz I did break that bolt and drilled it through with a smaller drill bit. The damn bolt rusted in there so it wouldn't pound out either that's why i was forced to drill through it. Also grinded off the welded nut on the strut. Any feedback welcome.
I am in the same exact situation.
I could only drill one of them out and I also ground off the nuts on the strut. They are temporariliy fixed but I am waiting for B20z to get me some aftermarket ones. If not I will probably get ITR ones.

ohh yeah? Damn
Which LCAs will actually fit without a problem? anyone know? Damn it, at least I have an extra bolt lying around, I just need to go find a bit that is the same diameter as the bolt. Ohh and need some new struts too. Haha I had problems with the stupid nut on top of the cap holding the springs in. The alley wrench hole stripped on me so I had to cut up that plastic cover thing on the struts to vicegrip that metal rod down so it would stop moving while I took the nut off on top.
I'm kinda driving without a cover right now so it's probably gonna get all dirty and die out soon if I don't get the cover. Damn it, i have the worst luck when it comes to Imports. just gave up my EG hatch for free and had the same problem with my integra a year ago....
