like the topic says....im going to be adjusting my vavle clearances, thought it would be easy till i looked how to access my crank pully nut.....its freakin burried!
how do you guys do it?

 

take off ur front driverside tire... and then take off that black guard ****...i think...

 

I took off the plastic to get at it, and used a 3" extention bar on a ratchet to turn it, worked great for me.

 

ok cool, i thought there was another option besides removing the wheel

What exactly does this do?

it rotates your crank...so you can adjust each valve for each cylinder at TDC (top dead center)

 

my fender lining on both my hondas had the hole to put a socket through to get at it.

 

just turn the wheel all the way out and you should be able to get at it

 

you can turn your wheel all the way to the left

 

I did that, you need like 2 or 3 long extensions.

 

I use a deep socket on the end of one 12" extension,
reaches in there fine...
but the socket always falls off the extension when I pull it back out ~!

 

ROFL! Removing the wheel makes life MUCH easier! You can get better leverage, instead of using 3-4 extensions and getting black rubber marks on your forearm. LOL!
