Default removing crank pulley?

which way do i have to turn the crank pulley bolt to get it off? and how hard should it be to get off? don't wanna **** anything up and i can'tget it off w/ what i'm doin right now......

It's a regular thread. Turn it counterclockwise to loosen.

ok now besides using air tools is there another way of getting the crank pulley off?
