Default Turboing a 11.4.1 Compression B18C1

The set up:
I got a GSR motor with jdm itr pistons. According to http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c...c/compcalc.php from cspeedracing, my compression is somewhere around 11.4.1.

My car is in the shop right now getting these items put on:

-maxrev kit
-garrett t3/t4 (.57 trim, .63 ar)
-3' thermal
-rc 550 cc
-walbro 255lph fuelpump
-hondata 2b
-skunk2 cam gears
-and a whole bunch of other electronics and miscellaneous things

How do yall think this set-up will run. I have been told that i will probably only be able to run 5psi SAFELY.

What are your inputs on this.

you need new pistons or at the very least, engine management.

u can do it, but make sure you have some kind of engine management (hondata, EMS) and a tuner who knows his stuff.

I can honestly say I wouldn't run a turbo with that compression but with a really good tuner you can get by. Would you be able to use different pistons (IE 10.2:1 or 10.4:1 or lower)?

I have talked to st00pid, im assuming most of yall know him.

He told me he was running a CR of 11.1 and has seen 12 psi of boost
on stock bottom.

So im assuming a pretty good tuner with CR 11.4 should be able to make
5 psi reletively safe.

tuning will be done atlanta georgia at a shop called balanced performance
by a guy named ED. supposedly he graduated at Georgia Tech which as some of you may know is a really top notch school for engineers and all that.

yes, i do. i've visited his shop a few times, and he's shown me that high compression and boost does work, and works very well. if you ever wanna take a roadtrip, take your car to him....cant beat it
