Default d16z6 dist

on the d16z6 fistributor where does there green/yellow wire go to??

im asking becuse ive got a crx with a d16z6 and the person b4 had a 89 dx dist and i switched but plugs didnt match so i cut the wires and im left with a white from the originally harness and the green/yellow wire which i think goes to vtec not sure thoguh HELP plz

dude u dont want to use the d16z6 with that year car. you have the hasport wiring harness.its made for using the d16a distributor..the ecu and distributor wont match. you have an 89 integra pm7 ecu. to use the z6 distributor, you need the z6 ecu..which means you'll have to totally rewire the car.

oh and the vtec wire has nothing to do with the distributor..its connected directly to the summit racing swtich. ( the little black box mounted on your firewall).

actully i have a pG7 ecu and im changing the whole harness to obd1 and the ecu to p28
