.........Honda's don't need low end grunt.....they have enough trouble launching stock.

I'm not too worried about launching.. it took some getting used to but I could launch pretty well on my 6lb setup and that was with crappy 17's. Im now using 15x7 maglites w/ drag radials and a quaife. Its something to consider but not imporant enough to point me one way or another.

I think it sounds like a good setup! Turbo is nice, but it sounds like the way you are going is a good one. I would try to find some wider front tires for some better grip. Good Luck

The great thing about NOS on a JRSC engine is that it can be used more to cool the intake down rather than the more 'traditional' get more O2 into the engine approach. The huge benefits of a denser charge mean that using a small NOS jet, like a 35 shot gains you benefits closer to 50 hp.

That on a stock 6 psi or 8 psi JRSC is a real killer app.

I agree with the post above though. Its almost too much torque down low. On wet roads I can break the tires loose in the first three gears if I don't feather the clutch. and I don't even have NOS, just an 8 psi pulley.

JRSC w/ endyne (215whp) + Nitrous (35x2=70whp) + Hondata Tuning = 285whp
My question is about tuning. Can you *really* tune a car with Nitrous to run at its potential both *with* and *without* Nitrous? I mean, dont you have to tune to the Nitrous spec and then when you arent using nitrous your running rich or something like that.

I understand the theory of cooling the charge air, but isn't there too much variation between Nitrous On and Nitrous Off to get a good tune?

My friend had JRSC with a 60 shot and he was not making 285 whp on the dyno.
He did pull a 12.8 on slicks though.

Im hoping the 15x7's will be enough.. I dont wanna modify my fenders, and you cant go much higher then that w/o rubbing.

if ur going to use the bottle, use it right...u can handle at LEAST a 65 shot if not upwards towars 80 or whatever... its NOT bad...and go turbo, lol...
No, thats not really true unless I was to use direct port injection. Roots type blowers can't handle too much nitrous.. on a dry setup it will cool the air too rapidly and in patches which will cause the fan blades crack over time and a wet setup corrodes the blades and unevenly distributes the no2/fuel mixture. But if I do feel the need, I will get a direct port setup maybe on down the road.

Hondatas can be programed with 2 different boost curves so I can have one for the charger and one while im on the gas.

That doesnt add up. I think your friend lied to you. Can you describe his setup more? What pulley was he running, what kinda nitrous system was he using, engine management, etc...

JRSC w/ endyne (215whp) + Nitrous (35x2=70whp) + Hondata Tuning = 285whp

haha
Am I missing something?
