Tiny clutch removal problem, need help.
Im replacing my clutch for my turbo setup. I have all the bolts out and everything, but the trans does not seem to completely pull away from the block. Do i have to remove the clutch dust shield to get this thing off. any suggestions?
the flywheel cover? If I remember correctly, I had to take it off.

Yes, you'll need to take the flywheel cover off. Also check in that same area, there is one bolt that's screwed into the direction of the passenger wheel. All the other bolts are going the other direction, so maybe you missed that one.
You'll also need to take off the bolts of the rear mount.
After all that, just shake the damn thing HARD. Maybe a pry bar will help too. Sometimes they're really stuck on there. Good luck.
