Which adjustable shocks?
I have the Tokico's. I'm using Eibach sportline springs front, and the Nuspeed lowering rear on a '90 CRX Si.
Bottom line, even on cheap tires with a bit of chassis tweaking this set up hooks up hard. Plus, the 5-way adjustability is nice for street/track driving differences.
They are harsh though. Be wary
Just my 2 cents.

if you are going to lower your car more than 1.25", don't go with the AXGs. i know of a few people who have blown them out by lowering the car too much and/or increasing the spring rates more than 50% over stock. although, i do run the agxs with the eibach pro-kits on my teg without any problems.
i personally like koni (but i am race biased). you get what you pay for.

Lots of potholes have opened up in PA recently, like big mother freakin holes (several i've seen easily over a foot across). I'm still amazed that my illuminas have held up so well though all the beatings. Plus they have pretty good internal valving they a naturally good for cornering. Only other shock I'd recommend (assuming you found a group by on them) would be konis.

i agree with breaka on this one, the agxs are only good to a point. me personally i would get the koni yellows, but just like breaka i am race bias. they offer superior ride and good stiffness for the twisties.

i ran kyb agx's with eibach sportlines for over a year and had no problems whatsoever. they rode extremely nice, almost stock, when set on the softest setting. When set on the stiffest they were amazing. I've installed this combination on 3 other friends cars, an ef, dc, and eg. All of them had no problems.
How long before some of you blew the agx's and waht springs were you running?

i had a set on my talon they lasted for a while like a year or so, but then i had them on a civic coupe with ground control sleeves and 475f 575r springs and it only took about 3 track days to blow them out
KYB AGXs are a great replacement OEM shock, they are hardly a "performance" shock. Just because it's adjustable doesn't mean it's good.
If you plan on racing your car, KYBs are a waste of money.

Koni yellow are the way to go. Adjustable, raceable, and can still offer an ok ride! And everyone will know you are runn'n them when the come up behind you and see the yellow!
I'd go with Koni. I don't have them on my car yet, but my friends MK3 GTi has them with his coilovers (full not sleeves)...they are very nice, and well adjustable well that = nice.
