remove cat for more hp? does it work
Depends on your motor and mods. For some set ups, you may actually lose power, where as with others, you can gain some power.
ok, does taking out ur cat and just welding a pipe on give ur car more hp?
cause it would have less restriction for air flow?
just wondering

Just my .02 cents.

It definitely helps.... Every little mod adds up.
You can hollow it, but then if you ever want it back, you gotta buy one.
You can buy a testpipe, which would help, and you can always swap your cat back on
Good luck
test pipes can help but also hinder. you give up torque with them in the low end, and hondas need as much as they can get. hollowing out your stock cat can also hinder the flow too just due to the shape of the cat in itself causes turbulence. i say get a free flow cat like a catco and save the test pipes for all track cars.
It will only help depending on your mods and if you aren't pushing out enough power then there is a chance that it will cause a loss of horsepower. One noticable difference is going to be the loss of low end power. It will be good on the open freeway though.

Like I said Most exhaust mods give minimal gains N\A that is, stock Honda exhaust systems are very efficient as it is. yes they could be better. But in most cases its good enough.
