that DOES NOT work with 99-00.

anybody know how i can do this with a 99-00? if your too lazy to read that, i don't want my corner lights to come on when i turn on my lights. i only want them on when im signaling.

u dont have to start removing all ur interior crap to pull some wires and stuff. u can get the lil 3 wire harness that goes to the corner light socket, and simply pull the "dim-parking light" wire. that way, only the "bright-turn signal" wire will be connected and it'll only blink for turn signals. nothing more... i did this for a while on my EG and used the "dim-parking light" wire for some city lights... just a lil homemade stuff i did......

Do your bulbs have the two contacts? (The little black things that touches the harness for power) On my EG, I just put some electrical tape over the top or the bottom one (i don't remember) and it worked. Cheap and quick.

just snip the running light wire from the light bulb harness..... i like the way i have it better.... i got led light bulbs on my corner.... and i wanted them to stay on bright and blink.... i found this website http://jdmfan.com/technical/cosmetic/brightcorners/ and i did it.... i also wanted my fender markers to stay on and blink.... and i also rewired my back lights.....

Well, I'd rather not go cutting wires if you could have just helped me. Thanks.

what exactly does your lights do when you do it the JDM Fan way? or do you not have the same colored wiring?

i did the jdmfan.com mod on my '97 Civic, and it didn't exactly come out as the webpage said, either.

When i turn the stalk for the parking lots, it works because only the headlights come on, but when i turn the stalk again for all the lights, the turn signal lights come on. the webpage said they're supposed to remain off always until you need to use the turn signal lights.

second click: headlights, corners, and taillights came on.

yep, that's what it does to me. Either the JDM Fan author has some trippy headlight wiring, or he's ******* blind and doesn't realize his corners are coming on with the second click.

Also, I realized this tonight when it got dark...First click headlights come on w/out corners, but interior lights and tail lights are off. Second click everything is lit up.

Either way this wiring instruction does not work.
