Spraying chicken wire mesh
Any tips on how to get the colour to stick?
My first time when I did this, the paint refused to cling to the aluminium wire so I just kept spraying until it looked dark enough. Also, the first time I did this, I didn't apply clearcoat so the colour has disappeared. I'm thinking sanding will make close to no difference since the mesh wire is so thin.
Suggestions? Cheers fellas

Try cleaning it with some simple green. Then Primer and paint.
Yes it's for the grill on EG6. Personally, wish I had the stock one but alas what's done is done.
Primer is a good idea. No real harm in another layer on top of the faded layer.
Thanks for the feedback.

get a 3m scuff pad, scuff up the surface, then a coat of two of primer, layers of paint, and a layer or two of clear.
all of these lays have to be VERY EVRY thin so they dont crack when the mesh bends
