B18a turbo headgasket q:
Hey guys,
I was just wondering who's all running aftermarket headgaskets with their turbo setups? I'm soon to swap in a b18a with t3/o4e (same turbo I had on my now dying zc), but I'm wondering if I should put a new turbo headgasket in there. I plan on running about 8-11 psi (street - track), but I dunno if I want to mess with the head (it's never been pulled), since I've been hearing bad stuff about ARP studs not holding the head down correctly. Has anyone had headgasket problems in their b18a with 8psi street & 11psi track? Things will be well tuned with a zdyne & 450cc injectors.
Thanks guys,
Ryan P.

I'll aggree with B20-T. We use nothing but stock bored-out headgaskets on all of our race motors. ARP's holding over 40 psi. of boost on a stock gasket for full race and 20+ psi of boost with a stock gasket for a street app everyday.....well almost every day
ARP's work great, but they have to be installed correctly!!! Just like anything else you buy.
