Default Stock internal; max psi?

I was just wondering what was the maximum pounds of boost you can run on a D16 (EX) or a B16A2 (SI) with stock internals? Thanks....

I have heard anywhere from 7 to 12. Don't know for sure though. You will probally get faster results if you did a search, I'm positive this has been covered before.

What about at the track with a d16, not like every day but like every once in a while. Or would you still not recomend going above 7?

i've heard that with the d16 you can easily go up to 10-12psi daily with stock internals and good fuel managment.

I suppose that means an upgraded fuel system? Or just like a vafc?

I doubt it. maybe tuned to extreme on specific octane (race gas also).

but on regular street octane, and depending on altitude, will determine the psi.

I wouldn't run more than 6-8 psi on stock internals, though.

Depends on your fuel management.

If you have an fmu and stock injectors - about 8psi

AFC hack - 10-12psi

AFC Hack: 8-9 (i think that's pushing it)
stock injectors & FMU: 6-7 psi
Hondata(or similiar stand alone)/440's/intank fuel pump: 10
