go 12lbs. the 8.8 is too light. i had a type r flywheel(14lbs) in my car and it was so much better than the 6lbs one i have now. you lose torque with a flywheel that is too light and also you will have more wheelspin on the street with the 6lb. the 12lb would most likely be perfect.

is it worth it to go with a type r or 12 lb one from a stock gsr. seems like it would be. or just have the gsr lightened.

I had my stock flywheel on my LUde lightened/balanced by King MS for 160 bucks, this act one is only 40 bucks more, so there is no way im having the stock one done again....
