Default VX/y8 head mini me swap.

ok. I have a VX block and I'm getting a y8 head for it. I already have a z6 Intake Manifold on there. Right now I'm trying to make a parts list, and I know I need a head gasket, what else do i need to add to my list?? and What would you guys recommend for a milling too? Thanks

which timing belt do I need z6 or y8? and is it ok if i have the vx ecu in there for a while, or is it absolutely necessary that i get a p28? Any suggestions on the milling?

I've think you need a ecu for a y8 I am putting a p&p y8 head w/jgcam on my Y5 block (hx) and I have a head, ecu, intake manifold, and of course gasket kit should be in next week I'll let you know if anything else comes up

the y8 intake mani is the best you can get, so if it comes with the head your in luck.

vtec-e is completely different than vtec. so the ecu wont work.

Yes u are right I just found an EX in a junkyard complete it has never been touched and i went to pop the hood, when i looked i almost splooged cause it had the y8 manifold, y8 head, and EX tranny, im getting all except the tranny for 150. Even the ecu and wiring harness.
