Default sparks?????

WTF? i just tried to re-connect my battery and there were mad fukin sparks that arced the terminal to the wire..i have never had this happen to me WTF is going on? please help me and also my car still wont start? i hate this, it is ridiculous the problems that i am running into. PLEASE HELP ME......

Did you put the positive side on first, then the negative??? You might have blown a fuse or two.

what fuses would be blown? i checked them..none. i dont understand why this is happening, too may problems

You'll get some sparks when connecting the battery. It's normal, just put the cable on and get it tight.

Ok that's too many sparks. are you crossing the positive and negative terminals? Just trying to figure out why you're getting that many and that hot of a spark. I've seen a guy accidently place a wrench across the two terminals.

ya im tryin to figure out hy im gettin that many too?? i think im hookin it up correctly? im kinda dislexic so iono. + then - or - then + ive tried them both WTF?

the fuses are all ok. where else could there be a short? all of the cables and wires look ok. im gettin so frustrated... but you guys are helping a lot, thanx

Only wires that are not fuse is the starter and the abs. All the rest are fused through the box next to the battery. Also any ghetto wiring you may have done should be checked. Sounds like a positive wire that is not fused or fused larger than the capacity of the wire is the problem. Look at the wire that is melting, I bet the problem is there.
