Default GSR crank in LSVtec ? (searched)

I was wandering if I could use the GSR crank in a LSVTEC setup to correct (or improve) the rod stroke ratio? Does it fit in the LS block or does it need to be machined to fit? Since the bore on the LS is the same as on the GSR and the stroke would be changed with the crank would the LS block stand up to higher revs (like a stock GSR block)? Thanks for any help

That would defeat the whole purpose of LS/VTEC, which is the longer stroke of the LS crank.
