time for new rotors?
I noticed today that my rotors look fairly rusted. I have a nice layer of rust on the hub of the wheel and the rotor has a red/brown color to it. I havnt had any problems stopping my car but i also dont want the rust to get worse. The dealer said my car came from the midwest so that would explain the rust (salt on the roads). So should i take the car to the dealer and have the rotors replaced? Thanks
Save your money dude. rust is common on rotors, especially when the car hasn't been driven for a while. Go for a lil cruise and after a few stops...no more rust!
