Default Resurface or Replace rotors?

I have begun to notice a pulsing in my brakes when I slow down. I feel it mostly in the steering wheel and it's not present when I use just the e-brake to slow down so I am guessing that the front rotors are warped. I looked into getting a pair of front Brembo blanks, but I don't know that I couldn't just get the front rotors turned to take out the wobble. Does anyone know the minumum thickness of the rotors must be to be able to be resurfaced? I wouldn't mind new rotors but if I could use the money for other mods then resurfacing would probably be better.

Just get some brembo blanks, in the long run it'll be worth it.

I had my front rotors resurfaced over 20K miles ago with no problems thus far on my 4g.

just buy new rotors from autozone. They only run $15 per rotor roughly..

If it ain't broke then don't fix'it, I would re-surfaced the rotor, and buy some good pads. If you can take the rotor out the car then take it to any local shop and they'll do it for a couple of bucks $10-15 versus taking the car and having them to do the work will cost you more.....

I planned to either pull off the rotors and take them somewhere to get them resurfaced, or just replace them myself with something that is at least as good as OEM. No offense, but I don't want to run Autozone rotors... some things just aren't worth trying to save a buck on. Kinda like this ad I once saw for "The Cheapest bullet-proof vest" anyway, I digress.

My thinking is that if these rotors can handle resurfacing then that would be fine, otherwise Brembo's it is. I know that if rotors get too thin they can't be turned any more... anyone got measurements for that from a Helms or something. I'm figuring that some autoparts stores might be able to either do the machine work or point me in the right direction... does that sound right to you all? Is the $15 or whatever mentioned above accurate for the charge for resurfacing?
