Thermostat acting up
My friend and I took my CRX out tonight when there wasn't much traffic to deal with the rear end sliding a little. Anyways, the thermostat seemed to be riding kinda high and when I gunned it it shot up all the way to the hot part...then when I pulled over and turned it off it was normal again, and we felt of the engine and it dind't feel hotter than normal. What could be the problem? Just a bad thermostat? I'm going to check all the fluids tomorrow or Wedensday. One funny thing we noticed is the rubber pipe leading from the radiator to the engine, the one below the long air intake pipe, was really bulged at the engine end. Could that be a problem? I'm also going to replace that.
