With LSD, when you turn one wheel, what direction does the other turn?
I recall reading somewhere that if you have an LSD, when you turn one of the wheels, the other wheel will spin in the same direction vs no LSD they will spin in opposite directions.
Am I right or do I have it reversed?
Thanks!

The main reason I asked was because they way I've been told to identify if you have a lsd or not is to look through the hole where the axles go. If there is a bar blocking your view to the other side it's non lsd. If it's clear through, then it's LSD.
I can see clear through mine, yet my diff behaves like an open diff (spin one wheel the other spins in opposite direction).

If you have any Teg other than an ITR (and have not added an aftermarket LSD) then you have an open diff.

my wheels spin in opposite directions also, and i definitely have LSD. i installed my transmission a few months ago and tried spinning the wheels when i had the car jacked up.
it seems as though that assumption is incorrect, althuogh 1.5 way lsd's and clutch type LSD's may act differently.
to determine whether your car has lsd, just drive in a circle and if your inner wheel spins then you don't have it.
should be obvious...after driving a car without LSD it became obvious as to what LSD feels like.

torsen LSDs act like open diffs under normal circumstances.
clutch types are locked together at all times and will spin both wheels in the same directions
