Whats crankwalk?
I believe it's thrust washers for Honda motors.. It's a common issue with Talon/Eclipse motors... Mainly the 95+ motors...
I'm not 100% sure of the cause, but I've heard of excessive clutch pressure plate pressure could be a cause.. What happens is the crank is able to move back and forth..
Here's a link that might help you understand.

Yup and if you get too out of spec then damage to the crank and block can occur... You'll usually notice it just through how the clutch engages... If it feels as though over time you have to set the clutch pedal in farther and farther, that is a sign of the thrust washers going out... Whey my friend spun his B16's thrust washer it was beaten around his block which cracked the bottom side of the pistons and destroyed the entire crank/block... Latez

its when the crank slides back and fourth, its bad for the bottom end when you have crank walk cause it can damage the crank. usually results when thrust washers go bad but crank walk is pretty rare in hondas unless you tore apart your bottom end and didnt install the thrust washers in properly during reassembly.
Whats so bad aboutt he crank moving back and forth? What does it damage?
