idle problem ???

Default idle problem ???

hey i have 91 accord (f22a1) . I put in a 92 motor (f22a6) i got everything connected. when i got it started the idle stayes at 2300k then startes to jump around . if you give it alil gas or when it startes to warm up. the idle startes to jump . what sensors or what can cuase this .. please help thank you so much ????

Not sure, but it sounds like a computer problem. Did you hook the f22a6 ecu up right?

yes the check engine light was on . No, i still have my lx ecu should i use a ex ecu i heard they are the same. ???????

I ran my ecu for codes. it was a code 7 (tps). could tps sensor cause this problem . if not what else . I need your help ... please ?????

yes a bad TPS could cause this. Id reccomend hooking a multimeter up to your TPS and seing what kind of voltage reading you get. if it's fluctuating, or out of it's normal operating range than it's gone bad and you need a new one. unfortuneatly Hoinda only sells the TPS along with the rest of the throttle body. you can get one off a car in a junkyard though. but each tps is tuned to a specific throttle body, so expect it to be a bit off.
